Passover Haggadah - The Torah command ‘To Tell'

To this day, the Nation of Israel has followed God’s command to tell their sons and daughters the story of the exodus from Egypt (Exodus 13:8). Year after year for generations, we gather at Passover ‘To Tell’ of the exodus from slavery to freedom.
What was Egypt like at that time? It was a nation that ruled over and enslaved another nation. It was after the last plague, the death of the firstborn, that the nation was released from bondage. The blood of the sacrificial lamb, smeared on the doorposts of the Hebrew slaves’ homes, protected them. The angel of death passed over the homes of the Hebrews and entered the homes of the Egyptians, taking with it their first-born sons.
The process of leaving Egypt is symbolic of the release from darkness and the bondage of slavery into light and freedom. Today, Passover and Spiritual Freedom speak of a personal awakening and deliverance from bondage. The enemy tries to distract or lull us to sleep when we go through personal pain, suffering, and even the death of loved ones—or when wars, diseases, and earthquakes surround us. His goal is to keep us from coming into our inheritance.
The people of Israel cried out to God, and He called Moses into ministry to lead them out. Even now, we hear the cries around us, and even we ourselves cry out to God. Now is the time to remember who can save us from bondage today, who is always near—He who is our Deliverer. God may use people to bring about His plans, but He does not need anyone to deliver us; He only needs our hearts turned to Him, a personal awakening, and a thirst for the living Lord.
By the blood of Yeshua, sacrificed for our sins, we can stand against the onslaught of the enemy, and the Destroyer will pass over us, our families, and ultimately our homes. Therefore, let us draw closer to the Throne of Grace, with the blood of Yeshua over the doorpost of our heart, remembering Yeshua’s words: “All who call on My name will be saved.” This is the lasting power of Passover and Spiritual
Freedom through the Messiah.
